 How many times can I appear for FMGE?
You can take the FMGE as many times as needed, as there is no limit on the number of attempts. The exam is conducted twice a year, in June and December.

What are the costs involved?
Costs vary widely by country and institution but typically include tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses, and travel.

Can I get a Bank Loan?
Yes, you can obtain a bank loan for MBBS studies abroad, with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) allowing loans of up to Rs. 15 lac for students pursuing education overseas. The exact amount sanctioned will depend on your parents’ income proof, which can include the last three years of income tax returns or a salary certificate. Each bank will have its own eligibility criteria, so it’s essential to visit the local branch of a nationalized bank to get detailed information about the loan terms and application process. Can my parents visit me while I study abroad? Can I travel during breaks?
Yes, parents, friends, and relatives can visit. Visa invitations can be issued to assist with processing in New Delhi. Students have two holidays each year—15 days in January and two months in summer (July and August)—during which they can stay, travel in Europe, or return to India.

Is an MBBS degree from abroad recognized in India and other countries?
Yes, the degree is recognized in India and over 180 countries worldwide. Graduates can practice in various countries after fulfilling specific requirements, such as passing the National Council of Education screening test in India or the PLAB in the UK.

Are foreign medical colleges listed in the WHO Directory?

What kind of food will I find abroad while studying MBBS?
